Vice President of Sales & Operations

Reports to: President

The VP of Sales & Operations will direct, manage and coordinate the processes and activities of the company’s retail and fulfillment teams.  The VP of Sales & Operations will be accountable for improving the operational processes through leading and coaching employees on a daily basis.

Essential Accountabilities

  • Develops policies, procedures, strategies and work methods to achieve business goals.
  • Participates as a member of the Leadership team in planning, budgeting and problem solving.
  • Ensures department success by hiring, training, developing, coaching and evaluating direct reports.
  • Creates and maintains an environment of trust; understanding of goals and objectives; and recognition of achievements. Evaluates performance and applies formal improvement policy as necessary.
  • Is a key member of the leadership team to achieving goals and create a culture of growth.
  • Is a change agent.
  • Ability to perform operations tasks as need throughout the organization.
  • Provide recommendations on cost-efficient solutions to meet the company needs and objectives through analyzing performance data.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Meeting performance expectations and service metrics as defined by the executive leadership team.
  • Balancing the achievement of various performance measures and expectations of clients.
  • Managing employee capacity and accountability in collaboration with peers to continue business growth.
  • Talent and change management initiatives by evaluating and improving operational costs and processes.
  • Establishing teamwork within the operations to achieve success.
  • Review and negotiate vendor contracts and agreements.
  • Ability to work with different people across a team effectively.
  • Will manage two divisions (Sales/Fulfillment related) that operate outside of standard business hours.  Must have availability to monitor weekend/afterhours transactions and manage escalated calls when necessary.

Prior Skillset/Experience

  • 4-5+ years’ experience within the ticket industry, Primary or Secondary.
  • Strong management experience with the ability to manage and implement processes/procedures
  • Ability to manage hands on without micromanaging others. If you are afraid to get your hands dirty, this is not the role for you.
  • Prior experience creating/developing reports, fine tuning processes and identifying automation processes.

Ticket Specialist

Full Time. Must be available to work a flexible schedule between the hours of 7:30am-6:30pm Monday – Friday with weekend rotation.

Reports to:

Manager of Ticket Operations

Responsibilities & Job Duties (include, but are not limited to):

  • Provide excellent service in our lobby, by telephone and email to customers
  • Accurately process and fulfill orders using varying technology
  • Preparing ticket package shipments and checking for accuracy
  • Entering ticket inventory into the POS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Must have a passion for sports
  • Retail, travel, event or sports experience considered a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal & written
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills required
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a group setting
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Must be available to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Must have an eye for detail

Pricing & Inventory Analyst

Reports to:

Vice President of Purchasing

Responsibilities & Job Duties (include, but are not limited to):

  • Manage and price various positions with professional and college teams
  • Analyze deals to determine best use of capital
  • Make projections on performance of the various positions
  • Purchase tickets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Interest in sports and concerts
  • Strong mental math skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal & written
  • Self-motivated team player with ability to manage a fast-paced work environment, multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a group setting

Staff Accountant

Reports to:

Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities & Job Duties (include, but are not limited to):

  • Maintains A/R accounts for all vendors. Responsible for looking into reasons aged invoices are still unpaid in POS system.  Communicates with account executives to ensure timely payments from retail clients. 
  • Enters and reconciles check payments in POS. Investigates reason for errors and discrepancies.   
  • Maintains discrepancy report between invoices and payment reconciliation. 
  • Maintains electronic records for all receipts and invoices. 
  • Reconciles credit card batch with POS credit card payments to verify each transaction has   been accurately charged.   

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, accounting best practices & accounting systems such as QuickBooks
  • Strong computer competence (Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work under pressure, and within a deadline oriented environment
  • Highly organized with ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail
