Carolina Panthers Events

The Carolina Panthers became the 29th franchise to join the NFL in 1995. The Panthers have already appeared in two Super Bowls (XXXVIII and 50) in their history. While winless in their Super Bowl appearances, Carolina has made 11 playoff trips prior to kicking off the 2020 campaign. The Panthers have also claimed six division titles (1996, 2003, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015) with five of those coming as a member of the NFC South.

The Panthers were one of two expansion teams to play in 1995 along with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jerry Richardson founded the team and owned the Panthers until 2017 when David Tepper purchased the team in May of 2018. The Carolina Panthers have had many decorated coaches including John Fox, Ron Rivera and Matt Rhule.

Where do the Carolina Panthers play?

Carolina spent that first season playing at Memorial Stadium, home of the Clemson Tigers. The Panthers then moved into Ericcson stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina the following year. In 2004, Erricson stadium would get renamed to Bank of America Stadium.
