Founded in 1967, the Oklahoma City Thunder were originally based in Seattle, Washington and were called the Seattle SuperSonics. In 2008, the SuperSonics moved to Oklahoma City and were rebranded as the Oklahoma City Thunder. In their history, the Oklahoma City Thunder have had a fair amount of success. In total, the Thunder have eleven division titles, four conference titles, and one NBA Championship that came in 1979 when the team was based in Seattle.
