St. Louis Cardinals Events

The St. Louis Cardinals franchise was established in 1882, and the team was originally known as the Brown Stockings. That name was shortened to the Browns in 1883, and then changed in 1899 to the "Perfectos" before the team settled on the Cardinals in 1900. The St. Louis Cardinals have a long and rich history of tradition and excellence, winning 23 pennants and 11 World Series Championships, with their most recent coming in 2011 when the team defeated the Texas Rangers in seven games.
