K-State Basketball Tickets

At Bramlage Colesium, the entire seating section is on one tier. The rows go up from 1 and continue on until the top. However the angle and architecture of the coliseum allow for great seats all around! Some rows go up at high as row 38, but that just means less stairs when going to the concessions because everything is at the top of the arena.

One thing to note, the student section is located from sections 19-23. If you want the best fans around you, yelling and jumping the loudest, this area is for you! These students know how to cheer on the Wildcats. The away teams are forced to tune out as much as they can, but the fans never let up. Just one more reason why the Bramlage Coliseum rates as one of great places play!

K-State Basketball History

Dating back to 1902, the Kansas State Wildcats set out to venture to the top. In 1917 and 1919, the Cats won the Missouri Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Association conference titles. Since then, KSU men's basketball has captured 18 regular season conference titles in basketball. Known for a great school of basketball, Jeff Sagarin rated Kstate men's basketball as the 27th all-time rankings in the ESPN College Basketball Encyclopedia.

Ever since 1946, the Wildcats have earned a winning home record. In 2008, under head coach Frank Martin, the Cats returned to the post season NCAA tournament, the first time in 12 years. Frank Martin had success with the Cats lead by star athlete, Michael Beasley. Beasley was named an All-American and Big 12 Conference Player of the Year.

In 2012, Bruce Weber became head coach of the Wildcats and he lead the Cats its first regular season conference title since 1977. Weber has helped the K-State Wildcats advance to the NCAA tournament three times since his arrival.

NCAA Tournament History

The Wilcats have appeared in 20+ NCAA tournaments and carry the record of 34-32 in the tournament. The Cats made it to one championship game in 1951 but fell to Kentucky. Since then, K-State has reached four Final Fours, 12 Elite Eights and 16 Sweet Sixteens.

1959 marked one of the best seasons in KState history, The team ranked #1 in the final AP Poll and Coaches Poll. In the post season, K-State beat Oscar Robertson's Cincinnati team 83-80. Sports Illustrated called the victory the "most exciting game of the 1958 season." Although, the wouldn't be the only game that received national attention for a nail biter game. In 1981, the Kansas State Wildcats faced the Oregon State Beavers 50-48. This game listed as "one of the greatest games in NCAA history" by USA Today. In 2010, the No. 2 ranked Wildcats beat North Texas and BYU to advance to the Sweet Sixteen. Here, the Cats faced Xavier. In a double-overtime thriller, K-State reigned victorious with a 101-96 win. This game raised attention as CBSSports.com called it "one of the best games in the history of Sweet Sixteen."
