The Milwaukee Bucks were founded in 1968 and have since won two NBA championships, in 1971 and 2021. They have had several notable players throughout their history, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (then known as Lew Alcindor), who played for the team from 1969 to 1975 and helped lead them to their first championship. In the his first season, the Bucks would go 56-26, which was the second-best record in the NBA behind the New York Knicks.
The next season the Bucks added Oscar Robertson. With the duo of Robertson and Abdul-Jabbar, the Bucks would go on to win their first championship in 1971. In the 2020-21 season, the Milwaukee Bucks advanced to the NBA Finals where they would face the Phoenix Suns. After going down two games, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks won four straight games to claim their first NBA Championship in fifty years, and the second in franchise history. In Game 6, Giannis had one of the most memorable performances in NBA Finals history with an incredible stat line of 50 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks. Anteotkounmpo would go on to win Finals MVP.
