My ESPN fantasy team, Skyy’s The Limit (named after Kansas City Chiefs’ rookie Skyy Moore), has
ended the season with a league victory. Yet my interest in watching the playoffs and Super Bowl
LVII remains ‘sky’ high. Let’s face it, the NFL has built the ultimate entertainment brand
watched by men and women, both young and old. It’s a cross-generational brand. It’s also one of
the few remaining appointment TV programs I keep because I can get most of my quality
entertainment from streaming services.

There still are plenty of tickets available for the fifth straight AFC Championship game on
Sunday in Kansas City, and the price has dropped from earlier in the week. On Friday, the “get
in the door” price for tickets on the secondary market at Overland Park-based Tickets for Less
was about $245. The highest ticket prices reached $1,895, and both were down about $100 from
Thursday. Tickets for Less is a ticket reseller.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Getting a seat inside GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City,
Missouri, for Sunday’s AFC Championship game between the Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals will cost
a lot of money. The cheapest tickets are selling for just under $400 including taxes and fees.
The most expensive tickets are thousands of dollars. The Chiefs put more tickets on sale Monday
morning.

season’s conference championship, but Chiefs fans are hoping for a different outcome. Kansas
City has lost the past three matchups with Cincinnati, and now they’ll look to avoid a fourth
and advance to Super Bowl LVII. The biggest question on every Chiefs fan’s mind is quarterback
Patrick Mahomes’ ankle. Mahomes was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain following Kansas City’s
AFC divisional round win over Jacksonville.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Many Chiefs fans guaranteed a first shot at AFC Championship tickets if the
game is played in Atlanta logged on to Ticketmaster Wednesday morning only to find the tickets
reserved for them had been sold and only resale tickets at much higher prices were available.
Some persistent fans who logged back on later in the day found face value tickets were available
with an access code. The Kansas City Chiefs released a statement late Wednesday night explaining
what happened.
