Justin Timberlake Biography

JT began his singing days in church choir and spent much of his time with musicians within his own family. His father introduced him to many legendary artists and sounds. Growing up in Memphis, TN, he was exposed to all kinds of music and talent. Soon after, he became a singer for The New Mickey Mouse Club. Upon meeting many talented singers, he met JC Chasez. Together, they collaborated and pulled in Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick to form *NSYNC. The boy band grew exponentially all around the world.

*NSYNC released the album No Strings Attached. One of the songs on the album stands out more than any other songs performed by the group; "Bye Bye Bye." The group was among the most popular artists of the time and the most popular boy band in history. Today, you can see an *NSYNC star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

Eventually, the group went their separate ways and Justin Timberlake began his solo career. By 2004, he received two Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. From there, JT became his own success with his solo career. He worked with many other hit artists and groups like Madonna, Black Eyed Peas, Snoop Dog and Nelly Furtado. With multiple hit albums and singles, Justin remains prominent. He was the half time performance for two Super Bowls, most recently for Super Bowl LII in 2018. 

Not only had JT excelled in the music industry but dipped his feet into the cinematic world. Acting in movies and TV shows, Justin Timberlake has made his way to expanding his career. He won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series in 2009 and 2011.
